Now for wood pulp retention aids and drainage aid, paper mills mainly used inorganic rentention aids such as PAC, Alums and CaCl2, Natural retention aid such as starch, and synthetic polymer aids such as Cationic Polyacrylamide PAM.
For wood pulp retention, polyacrylamide polymer is used to improve the quality of the paper, improving pulp dehydration performance, improve the fines and filler retention, reduce raw material consumption and pollution to the environment.
Normally in high speed and share rate condition, we suggest to use high molecular weight with low charge density PAM for fine fibers and fillers.
For retention in low speed and charge neutralization, we suggest to use low molecular weight with high charge density PAM as Retention Aids and Drainage Aids.
For pulp retention, we suggest to make polyacrylamide solution in two steps:
1, Dilute the PAM powder to 1%-2% solid content with clean water in high speed shear rate.
2, Dilute the solution again with plenty of clean water in a low speed share rate, then dose into the pulp.
Attention when making and storage the solution:
1, Finish using the diluted PAM solution in 24 hours
2, Avoid the diluted PAM solution in high speed shear rate.
Pulp retention aid polyacrylamide Function:
Cationic polyacrylacrylamide can be used alone as retention aid, also can work together with bentonite as Anionic microparticle retention systems; Anionic PAM and Cationic PAM can bes used together as double polymer retention system; Cationic PAM can be used together with the other cationics as cationic microparticles retention system.
As agent of retention and filtration, Cationic Polyacrylamide can increase the retention of the fiber and other additives, and accelerate filering and the dehydration, the fiber first layer retention can be increased 10%.
Recommend Dosage: 100-500g/ ton paper
Recommend Solution: 0.3% solid content
Attention for dosage: Dilute with lot of pressure water when pump into the system.
Packing:
25kg/plastic enhanced paper bags with inner plastic bag, 25kg/PE bags
